Cacti Tutorial – Set IP on my CactiEZ server

This is the first in my series of cacti tutorials.  I’m starting at the start.  Once you have CactiEZ loaded, the first thing you need to do is set a static IP on your server.  I present you with two command line methods to do so. Click below to see the video tutorial!

    Joseph,

    Try just browsing to http://MyCactiIP
    Don’t add the /cacti.

    Hi Greg,

    Great tutorial.

Can you explain what I do to assign multiple ip addresses to 1 network card.

I would like to have 1 gateway for internet access and 4 ip addresses for talking to different equipment on our network

    192.168.172.x
    192.168.188.x
    10.20.30.x
    10.20.50.x

    Thanks guys
