We have a lot of fiber LIUs with a lot of patches. We mostly use LC connectors these days and we tend to densely pack these guys in. This works great…usually. Once it is time to head back in and pull somehting out of the middle or insert a new patch in the middle, you will realize that your fat-man-fingers just don’t fit in there. In comes skinny fingers to the rescue.
The only down side to these things is the fact that they charge $60 for them.
