He commented on my blog a while back on the 450G BGP testing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hardware updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The RB750s will be coming out with a wireless version.<\/li>\n<li>The RB750s will also be coming out with a gigabit version.<\/li>\n<li>The RB1000 will be coming out with a new version that has more ports.<\/li>\n<li>A note on the 411R is that not only do they not have a serial port, but they don\u2019t have a power plug either\u2026these guys are PoE only!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Usermanager new features in V4 of the OS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can change the logo\u2026brand it as your own.<\/li>\n<li>Edit the menus so that you can show as many or as few of the options as you want. This will help to lower confusion for non technical users.<\/li>\n<li>COA feature allows you to boot users from within usermanager<\/li>\n<li>Profiles \u2013 Create multiple bandwidth profiles<\/li>\n<li>Flexible database backup\/restore<\/li>\n<li>Logs \u2013 single click clear and store as a separate file<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In development for usermanager:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paypal\/authorize.net integration<\/li>\n<li>Payment API so you can integrate your own payment backend<\/li>\n<li>User can login and check his balance or how much money he has left in the system<\/li>\n<li>Better user reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Met some of the Latvian\u2019s so far, Normands is a pretty cool cat.
