Windows does have a command line tool that will repair it, though.  This <a href=\"http:\/\/superuser.com\/questions\/274687\/how-do-i-format-a-usb-drive-on-a-pc-that-was-formatted-on-a-mac\">SuperUser article<\/a> outlines the fix.<\/p>\n<li>Connect your disk.<\/li>\n<li>Run cmd as an Administrator.<\/li>\n<li>Run diskpart.exe. Use ? if you need help in this program.<\/li>\n<li>list disk<\/li>\n<li>Find the disk that corresponds to your USB disk.  select disk n where n is the number of the \tdisk. Confirm that you&#8217;re using the right disk with detail disk.<\/li>\n<li>clean (Warning: This command erases the disk&#8217;s partition information)<\/li>\n<li>create partition primary. No size is needed if you want to use the whole disk<\/li>\n<li>active. Marks the partition as potentially bootable.<\/li>\n<li>format fs=fat32 quick. You can choose NTFS instead of FAT32 if you want.<\/li>\n<li>assign.
