My favorite is to take the popular Youtube video and pull out excerpts, make a ring tone, then sneak it on someone&#8217;s phone&#8230;:)  I&#8217;m a classy guy, what can I say?<\/p>\n<p>So, I use <a title=\"audacity portable\" href=\"http:\/\/portableapps.com\/apps\/music_video\/audacity_portable\" target=\"_blank\">Audacity Portable<\/a> to chop up my file.  Once I have it the way I want, I save it as a wav.  I then use sound recorder, yes the built-in windows sound recorder, to open, then resave in the proper format.   You save it as CCITT u-Law.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-417\" title=\"sound-recorder\" src=\"http:\/\/gregsowell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/sound-recorder.jpg\" alt=\"sound-recorder\" width=\"565\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gregsowell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/sound-recorder.jpg 565w, https:\/\/gregsowell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/sound-recorder-300x236.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then rename the file to .raw and upload it to your Callmanager in the c:\\Program Files\\Cisco\\TFTPPath folder.<\/p>\n<p>Edit the Ringlist.xml file and add your new file.<\/p>\n<p>You will probably need to restart the &#8220;Cisco TFTP&#8221; service, since the tftp service is set to cach by default.<\/p>\n<p>Have fun, and I hope you enjoy the muffins Jacob! :P~<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Occasionally, you just have to make an interesting ring tone.
