Sequoia view <\/a>– This is an extremely useful tool when you have a full hard drive.\u00a0 What it does is crawl a drive and show how each folder is utilized in an interesting visual way.\u00a0 It uses colored squares.\u00a0 Each color represents a different file type.\u00a0 The size of the square represents how large the file is.\u00a0 It helps you to QUICKLY and easily find space hogs and delete them.\u00a0 This has found use on the C drive of many an exchange server.<\/p>\n

Restoration <\/a>– Another one of your standard undelete programs.<\/p>\n

Colasoft Packet Builder<\/a> – You can use this guy to craft packets and send them at varying intervals on your network.\u00a0 This is great for all sorts of testing.<\/p>\n

Colasoft Packet Player <\/a>– This is another cool prog.\u00a0 You can replay packets captured from wireshark back into your network.<\/p>\n

srvany\/instsrv <\/a>– These two programs were put out on a M$ resource kit cd.\u00a0 You can google for them and find a download.\u00a0 What these do is allow you to run any executable program as a service.\u00a0 I’ve run many a program in this fashion.\u00a0 This is for the MacGyver in all of us.<\/p>\n

Cain & Able <\/a>– Many virus scanners will pick this up, though it is clean.\u00a0 The able prog can be used to exploit machines, and I never personally use it.\u00a0 Cain on the other hand is very useful.\u00a0 You can use Cain to decrypt many password types easily.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
