Bad Typing Makes You A Tree Killer

I type quickly and therefor have to hit the backspace every now and then. The thought occurred to me that every time I type the wrong letter it uses electricity, then when I hit backspace it uses more electricity, then when I type the correct letter it uses more electricity. My poor typing uses more electricity, that electricity is produced by a power plant which produces more pollution. I wonder how many trees and furry cute animals my poor typing and grammar has killed? I’ll go ahead and take credit for the next extinct species of newt. I’m a lethal weapon people…watch yourselves 😉

He seems serious...I would do as he says.

Power plants produce CO2, true, but trees and plants use CO2 to make O2. So it’s not that bad if your typing is speedy. It’s actually letting more O2 be produced!

CO2 is one of the major greenhouse gasses which will eventually lead to our demise. Trees like CO2, but we keep cutting them down. The Sea converts most of our O2, but we keep dumping trash in the ocean, which kills plankton and such. I made 3 mistakes typing this response, so you just made me kill another tree. Besides, Brondo is what plants crave anyway.

I just keep wondering in 10-30,000years what will it matter? I wonder if by then the balance will be restored & todays humanity will be well on its way to being the next batch of fossil fuel???

That’s why I only jokingly posted this…a drop in the bucket my friend.

Exactly right 🙂 Earth can deal with our pollution, even if all living things die from it, the earth will find a way to survive and restart everything. So we are only risking our own comfort and well-being.

Well put Normis, it was here before us, and it will be here after us. I believe this is one of those problems that slow change won’t fix. People are too lazy, so if you don’t shock them out of their comfort zone, nothing will happen.
